Homitem was created in 2014 in a small town in China. Our founder, born into a farmer family, saw his parents' hard work and the toll it took on their bodies, especially their feet. After 5 years of experimentation, we successfully designed slippers with the goal of comforting extremely tired feet by using mattress memory foam, gel insoles, and anti-shock cushioning. We named our slippers "Homitem," combining the words "Home" and "item," representing who we should be grateful for and what we represent. Our founder used his first salary to buy two pairs of slippers as gifts for his parents, and this inspired him to create a company with the goal of "Providing Soft and Affordable Slippers For Hard Working People."
