From the Brand Homitem House Slippers: Homitem was created in 2014 in a small town in China. Our founder had a challenging upbringing, born into a farming family, witnessing his parents working long hours in the fields, with wrinkled and rough skin, especially on their swollen feet from walking over 10 miles daily. After 5 years of experimentation, we successfully designed slippers aimed at comforting extremely tired feet using mattress memory foam, gel insoles, and anti-shock cushioning. We named our slippers "Homitem," combining the words "Home" and "Item," representing our gratitude and what we stand for. The founder used his first-ever salary to buy his parents two pairs of slippers, seeing the happiness on their faces, and decided to create a company with the goal of "Providing Soft and Affordable Slippers For Hard Working People."
